The Veterinary Team
Jonathan Deacon BVMS, CertSAS, MRCVS
After qualifying at Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) Veterinary School in 2000, Jonathan’s first post was with a mixed practice in Northumberland and, during the 3 years he spent there, he developed a love of small animal surgery.
As a result of this passion, he moved on to a referral centre for small animals in West Yorkshire where he spent 5 years studying towards the Royal Veterinary College Certificate in Small Animal Surgery which he attained this year.
In 2008 Jonathan decided to settle in Northumberland, with his new wife Megan and their collection of pets (amongst which number 5 rescued stray cats, 2 dogs and a 25 year old Hackney horse called Topper), leading him to found Moorview Vets.
